Current Models in Development
These are the different clock models I'm currently working on. Follow progress on Twitter / X

Type 1 — Tri-Date
Clean geometric triangular date arrangement
The Tri-Date features a clean geometric triangular arrangement of date complications. At the top is a big date display, while the triangle's base houses weekday and month indicators in perfect balance.

Type 2 — Planétarium
Astronomical experience on your desk
The Planétarium has a spinning Earth model that shows you which parts of the world are currently in daylight. It tilts through the seasons following the real Earth inclination of 23.5 degrees, so you can watch how daylight changes throughout the seasons.

⚙️ Quality Materials
Carefully selected brass, steel, walnut wood, and other high-quality materials ensure both beauty and durability.
🔤 Custom Typography
I design custom fonts for the numerals and apply them to each dial for clean, readable time display.
🔧 Hidden Technology
Ultra-precise stepper motors and WiFi connectivity remain invisible, preserving the classical aesthetic while enabling modern functionality.
🛠️ Hand Assembly
Each timepiece is individually assembled and finished by hand in my USA workshop (garage), making sure everything looks and works perfectly.
📅 Perpetual Calendar
Advanced calendar system with automatic daylight saving time adjustment via WiFi connectivity for effortless timekeeping.
🎛️ Interactive Crown
The digital crown makes setup easy and exploring all the features fun.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Atelier Ludo desk clocks different from traditional clocks?
Atelier Ludo combines traditional clockmaking with modern precision technology. Each timepiece features very precise stepper motors hidden beneath classical aesthetics, perpetual calendar functionality, and WiFi connectivity for automatic time synchronization.
Are the clocks handmade?
Yes, each timepiece is individually hand-assembled by Ludo Landry in his USA workshop (garage). From initial concept through final assembly, every component is carefully made using quality materials like brass, steel, walnut wood, ceramic, etc.
What is the Tri-Date complication?
The Tri-Date features a unique geometric triangular arrangement of date complications. It displays a prominent large date at the top, with weekday and month indicators positioned at the triangle's base, all integrated into a distinctive "squircle" dial design.
How does the Planétarium Earth model work?
The Planétarium features a suspended Earth model that rotates with a natural 24-hour cycle, positioned on an accurate 23.5-degree axial tilt. This provides real-time visualization of which hemisphere is experiencing daylight, and the seasonal rotation shows how solar illumination changes throughout the year.
What is the current development status?
Both the Tri-Date and Planétarium are currently in active prototyping phase. You can follow detailed progress updates on Twitter / X and Instagram for behind-the-scenes development content.
What materials are used in construction?
Atelier Ludo uses quality materials including brass, steel, walnut wood, ceramic, etc. Each component is finished by hand with techniques including precision machining, painting, polishing, and texturing to achieve both beauty and durability.
